Othello keeps on believing Iago in Act four and its starting to annoy me. It annoys me how Iago’s entire plan works every time and how good he is at persuading Othello into thinking that his wife, Desdemona is cheating on him. Othello completely falls for everything that Iago says when Iago convinces him to hide while he talks to Cassio about Bianca but Othello thinks Cassio is talking about Desdemona. I don’t get why Othello doesn’t just go ask Desdemona himself it would make everything so much easier. Othello wouldn’t have to worry about anything. Othello and Desdeoma could have this wonderful relationship and a great life ahead of them if Iago didn’t get involved. Everyone basically loves Othello except Brabantio because Othello ran away with his daughter to get married. Othello has a great job and is very well trusted. With Iago out of this play things would be completely different. I wish Iago would just focus on his relationship with his own wife, Emilia rather than screw up other peoples because it’s not fair! It surprising though how Emilia stays with Iago when I know she knows what he is capable of doing. Desdemona is starting to get really offended by Othello calling her a whore she can’t even say the word. I wish that Desdemona knew that Othello thought she cheated on him with Cassio because then she could just say something to him and Othello would know that Desdemona has been faithful and always will be.
