Once again in this act Iago is not a fan of mine. He tells Othello that he is going to kill Cassio for him but instead has Roderigo kill Cassio. But it ends up going the other way, Roderigo gets killed by Cassio. So because Iago has told Othello that Cassio would be killed Othello is going to kill his wife Desdemona before he knows everything that really happened. Everything like Othello killing his wife wouldn’t have happened. If Emilia would have been one second sooner, who knows maybe Desdemona wouldn’t have been killed at all. It surprises me that as Desdemona is dying she has a last word of she killed herself when her husband killed her and she really doesn’t understand why he wouldn’t believe her about things or give her a chance to speak. The next few things happen so fast that it almost doesn’t make sense. Emilia starts to figure out that Iago started all of this. Soon after when Iago starts to threaten Emilia because she tries to tell everyone that Iago was the one who started all of this mess. Iago gets so upset he kills his wife. I could not believe that he did this I was completely shocked. I don’t know how someone could kill their wife unless in Iago’s case you don’t love your wife. Then after he runs away Othello ends up killing himself with a sword he has which just ends everything. But I think that he is so surprised at everything that has happened and hates himself for killing his wife who actually loved.
